How does the bunker liner work?

Water travels through the bunker sand and through the capillary concrete bunker liner. Past the bunker liner, water moves through the bottom of the bunker along the gravel trenches and into perforated drain pipes. From there the drain pipes transfer the water away from the bunker and into an adjacent drainage sump. The capillary concrete additionally prevents soil from working up into the bunker and polluting the sand.
